Legacy Handbags - Born in Ireland.

Legacy Designer Handbags was established in 2019 following a trip to Japan for The Rugby World Cup.  After noticing a booming resale market in Tokyo and Osaka for pre-loved handbags, the idea for Legacy Handbags was born. 

Buying pre-loved designer bags can be risky as the market is flooded with counterfeit replicas and superfakes, some of which can fool even the most trained eye.

At Legacy Handbags, we use a two step process to verify our designer bags. Firstly, we inspect the pieces by hand, using a jewellers loupe, we examine date codes/serial numbers, stitching, hardware and the lining. Then, we verify the piece using Entrupy A.I. technology  This technology gives you the buyer an added layer of assurance. This way we can conclusively verify the authenticity of our bags, without a doubt, thereby mitigating the risk for you.

Authenticity

We focus on trust to ensure you feel secure purchasing our bags. Every product is thoroughly checked to ensure it meets our standard of high quality.The stamping, stitching, hardware, authenticity stamps, date codes, serial number and materials are all checked in detail. 

Entrupy helps us to sell with confidence. All our bags are personally checked and authenticated when we list them for sale. We offer a full refund if your purchase is proven to be counterfeit. That's our promise to you.

Sustainability

Thankfully society is gradually moving away from the disposable fast-fashion culture. Vintage pieces often have more character than newer pieces, so it's a win-win situation.  Buying new is often costly, so to get the most value it makes sense to buy pre-loved. 

   

Every bag is carefully examined and authenticated by us in house before it is listed on our website. We are by no means the biggest and best reseller, but what we do offer is attention to detail and a unique personalised service. How Are You Different From Other Resellers?

We are unlike most resellers as we don't work purely on a consignment basis. Most sell on consignment,meaning they act as a middleman by selling on behalf of private clients.  We are unique in that we do not work purely on consignment.

We sell a mixture of our own stock pieces as well as a few, very special consignment pieces. Brands we love to consign: Louis Vuitton, Chanel, YSL, Chloe, Prada and Fendi. 

Do You Have a Bricks & Mortar Store?

For now we are online only, however we deliver throughout Ireland and Europe.  We are based in North County Dublin and we offer no-obligation virtual online appointments and appointments in person.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail from your initial enquiry right through to packing your order. Each piece is lovingly wrapped in silk tissue paper and carefully tucked away for you to unwrap.
